ABOUT ME
I’m Maria Anistratova, a photographer based in Northern Italy, specializing in elopements, intimate weddings and couples on Lake Como.
For my clients, I do much more than photography. I help plan the entire experience — choosing the right locations, creating the itinerary, arranging villas and private boats, and connecting you with trusted local vendors for hair and makeup, florals, videography, content creation and other services.
I know Lake Como well and understand its logistics, from villa access and opening hours to boat routes and the best timing for each location. My goal is to make the planning easier for you and create a beautiful, well-organized day that feels personal to you.
HOW IT WORKS
Start by sending me your preferred date or date range, the locations you have in mind, any photos or references you love, and the approximate budget you would like to work with.
Every collection can be adapted to you — we can change the locations, timing, services and itinerary. Or, if you have something completely different in mind, I can create a fully custom Lake Como elopement experience from scratch, built around your ideas and priorities.
Once we define the concept, I take care of the planning, vendors, coordination and logistics, bringing all the details together into one clear plan.
My goal is simple: when your wedding day comes, you should be thinking about each other, your feelings and the moment you are living — not about schedules, logistics or organizational details.
Self-Planning Proposal
This is an example budget for a self-planning proposal, designed for couples who are happy to communicate with vendors directly and manage the coordination process themselves.
I will recommend trusted vendors I regularly work with and provide you with their contact details. You will contact them directly and handle all arrangements, bookings, agreements, and payments independently.
In this option, I act as your photographer and consultant. I’ll be happy to recommend the best timing and locations, advise on logistics, share my professional opinion, and help you make the best choices for your proposal. However, all communication and coordination with vendors remain on your side
COLLECTION I — ESSENTIAL PROPOSAL
A one-hour proposal experience in a beautiful public location on Lake Como, with the option to add a custom floral setup. Photo coverage can be complemented by a dedicated content creator or a short highlight reel filmed by your photographer. A simple and flexible option that can be personalized to your vision.
COLLECTION II — VILLA & BOAT
An iconic Lake Como proposal experience combining two of its signature settings: an elegant historic villa and a private vintage boat. This two-hour experience brings together the atmosphere, views, and classic Lake Como aesthetic in one beautifully balanced package.
COLLECTION III — FULL LAKE COMO EXPERIENCE
A three-hour Lake Como proposal experience combining an elegant villa with an extended two-hour private boat tour. Two boats are used during the experience: one exclusively for the couple and a separate support boat for the production team, allowing us to create cinematic side-by-side photo and video shots on the lake. A complete Lake Como experience with iconic locations, beautiful views, and elevated visual storytelling.
COLLECTION IV — EXCLUSIVE LAKE COMO EXPERIENCE
Fully private Lake Como proposal experience centered around an exclusive after-hours visit to Villa del Balbianello. The experience combines private boat access, professional photography and cinematic videography, with a dedicated videographer capturing the proposal, your reactions, and the story of the day. After the villa experience, enjoy a private boat ride across the lake for additional portraits and iconic Lake Como views. A complete, highly produced experience designed around privacy, atmosphere, and cinematic storytelling.
